Not Eating Healthy This Week
I always think that I will eat healthy while my husband is away on business. I start out with good intentions, I really do. My husband is away this week and what I have had? Monday, I had chips and nacho sauce for lunch. I had a Big Mac and fries for dinner. Tuesday, I had canned ravioli for lunch and half a Tombstone pizza for dinner. Today, I had Taco Bell for lunch. I haven’t decided on dinner yet, but it will probably be the other half of the Tombstone pizza.
It’s hard cooking for just one. I cook all the time and I guess when he is away, I just feel like I can take a break from cooking. I like to grab something quick when it’s just me. I even walked through the grocery store today and tried to find something that sounded good for dinner and nothing looked good. If I lived in town, I would definitely be eating every meal out.
If you are single, what type of foods do you fix for yourself? Do you eat out a lot? Do you fix meals and freeze part of it?
I normally do better than I have this week when hubby is away. I normally go shopping before he leaves and find “fun” foods to eat while he is gone. I guess I am getting used to hubby traveling more. It’s not as much fun to have the “fun” foods as it used to be.
