Jeff’s Easy Donuts

Published by pattye under Breakfast Edit This

This is a recipe that my husband used to make quite often. We haven’t had it in years, but I thought about it tonight and now I am craving it.  This is a quick way to make donuts that you and your children may enjoy.

Jeff’s Easy Donuts

Ingredients

1 container of refrigerator biscuits(10 count)

oil for frying

sugar & cinnamon

powder sugar

Cap from soda bottle

Instructions

Heat oil in sauce pan.  Open the biscuits and separate.  Take the soda bottle cap and make a hole in the center of the biscuit.  Drop in hot oil and fry on each side until golden. Remove with tongs and drop in sugar mixture and coat well.  Continue frying the remaining dough and don’t forget to fry the donut holes.

You can also make your own glaze.  I take powder sugar and mix with a little milk and a little bit of vanilla. Coat the donuts well and enjoy.
