Red Lobster Garlic Cheese Biscuits

Published by pattye at 8:52 am under Other Edit This

I absolutely love this recipe.  I am not sure if it really what Red Lobster uses, but it tastes a lot like their wonderful biscuits.

My husband and I used to eat at Red Lobster all the time in our early years of marriage.  Unfortunately, I developed an allergy to shellfish.  Cry  We now eat at Red Lobster maybe once a year and I always look forward to the biscuits.   I love the garlic flavor as well as just the texture of this biscuit.  I always eat more of these than I should.

I made these biscuits last night with dinner and instead of dropping them by spoonfuls on a baking sheet, I put them in a muffin tin.  They taste the same, of course, but they do not look like the ones that you have at the restaurant.  I wish I would have not used the muffin tins just so you could see how nice they look when fixed the way the recipe directs.

Red Lobster Biscuits

Red Lobster Garlic Cheese Biscuits

Ingredients

2 cups Bisquick baking mix

2/3 cup milk

1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted (I use butter)

1/4 tsp. garlic powder (I probably use 1/2 tsp because we really like garlic)

Instructions

Mix baking mix, milk and cheese until soft dough forms; beat vigorously 30 seconds. Drop dough by spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.  Bake at 450 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown.  Mix margarine and garlic powder; brush over warm biscuits before removing from cookie sheet.  Serve warm.  Makes 10 to 12 biscuits.

Enjoy!
