This is one of my favorite desserts.  It is so easy to make and everyone seems to love it.   Do you know why they call it magic peach cobbler?  It’s because while it bakes, the dough covers the peaches.  I just love how this tastes.  My husband could not believe that I made it the first time we tried it.  I’m not sure what that says about my cooking.  LOL

We haven’t had it in a while and even though we are supposed to be loosing weight, I may just have to make this soon.

Magic Peach Cobbler

Ingredients

1 stick butter

1 3/4 cups sliced peaches

1 cup sugar

3/4 cup milk

1 cup flour

1 cup sugar

1 1/2 tsp. baking powder

Instructions

Melt butter in 9 x 13 inch pan or smaller.  Mix together the sugar, flour, baking powder, and milk; pour over the butter. DO NOT STIR.  Arrange the peaches over this, then sprinkle over the remaining sugar.  Baked for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.

I prefer this served warm.  It is great with a little whipped cream or ice cream, but plain is fine.

Enjoy!
